Homemade chocolate and hazelnut spread in a jar

Chocolate & Hazelnut Spread

Five ingredients. The only technical step is grinding the hazelnuts long enough to turn them into a paste.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 140 g Franceschi chocolate, grated
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Method

  1. Spread the hazelnuts on a tray and roast for 10 minutes.

  2. Grind the roasted hazelnuts until they form a paste.

  3. Combine the grated chocolate, sugar, vanilla and oil until fully mixed.

  4. Add the hazelnut paste and mix by hand into a homogeneous paste.
